Description

Cozy Cove is a quintessential Russian River cabin! Less than a block from a fantastic neighborhood beach known as Cozy Cove, the house provides beach chairs, life vests, sand buckets and shovels, and an old fashioned red wagon to carry all your toys to and from the house. Your family will appreciate the simplicity of relaxing, cooking, playing at the river and in the basement recreation room with a ping-pong table and more kid's activities! The front porch catches abundant sunlight and includes cozy seating, propane BBQ and dining table.

Inside, the kitchen, dining and living rooms are open for maximum fun while cooking and hanging out. Relaxing beds and ample storage in each bedroom mean you'll be comfortable day and night.

Walk to town! Cozy Cove is just a hair over a mile from Main Street, Guerneville, and all the shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms and art galleries! The historic walking bridge shaves just a smidge off the walk and carries you to downtown without walking along cars for the last leg of the journey.

Cozy Cove is part of a tight knit residential neighborhood with a mix of permanent residents and vacation homes. Guests and neighbors relish the peaceful nature of this community, so we ask guests to pay close attention to the posted quiet hours and respect the neighborhood's slower pace of life (and driving).

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours:
The maximum occupancy at Cozy Cove is 7 people. Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking:
There is parking for 3 to 4 cars parked in tandem in the garage and driveway. Street parking is scarce. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes:
First bedroom: Queen bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed; Third bedroom: one Full and one Twin bed.

Heat Source:
This house has central heat. The fireplace is decorative only.

Rec/Game Room: The game room is an unheated, uninsulated space. Temperature varies throughout the year.

Stairs:
There are two sets of stairs to the house: one from the parking area to the front deck and main entrance - approx. 20 steps - and one from the back yard to the dining room slider door - approx. 20 steps.

Fencing:
The yard is fully fenced when the gate to the road is closed.

Proximity to Wineries:
Korbel Winery is the closest winery at 4 miles, but there are tasting rooms in downtown Guerneville about 1 mile away.

Nearest River Beach:
The nearest river access is less than a block away and approximately a 1 minute walk - though the beach is variable seasonally.

Nearest Ocean Beach:
The coastal beaches in Jenner are approx. 14 miles.

Great location on Russian River

Great location on Russian River. Clean with most of the kitchen stuff you need. I appreciate places that have all the basics in the kitchen and bathroom and tell you up front specifically so you don't have to guess! They also have a ton of little kids toys which was great. We came during super hot summer months and I was worried about no AC but it really does stay cool most of the day if you follow their instructions about windows and curtains and stuff!-via Airbnb

walkable to the river

Great location and walkable to the river. Just down the road from a playground, pee wee golf, restaurants, redwoods, and Stumptown Brewery. I did feel like the house needed some TLC and wasn’t quite as described. Kitchen stuff needs to be replaced. The outside deck and stairs seemed old. Inside walls need to be cleaned and painted. The ping pong area was dark and we were disappointed that the wagon was nowhere to be found…But overall, the place seemed clean enough and accommodated our family well enough.-via Airbnb

What a well appointed home! There was nothing lacking! There was everything to make your stay there very comfortable! I especially liked the way the kitchen, dining room and living room were all open to each other. Making dinner or snacks we could all chat. There was enough space so we weren't in each others way. The extra pillows, blankets, beach towels. Everything was perfect! It made our family vacation the best!The property managers are very spot on. We needed something and they took care of it within an hour, no exaggeration! I will recommend this house to all of my family and friends! Thank you for a wonderful time!Sarah Candelaria

This home is perfect for 4-7 people wanting a Russian River getaway. Close enough to walk/bike to downtown Guerneville, this home is tucked away in the Coastal Redwoods and right near the Russian River. Easy access for fun in the river, and very close to Russian River wineries. The property is extremely clean and very comfortable, and the property managers are great. Would stay again.-via Airbnb

an incredible stay

This was such an amazing home, so close to the river/beach area!! We brought our corn hole game only to find one already there!! The ping pong room was so much fun for us to take a break from the sun. Looking up on the top deck into the trees was a dream. The rooms were great, as were the bathrooms. We were able to find everything in the kitchen, only had to go out to buy some salt. The downside was that we somehow ran out of toilet paper towards the end, but we were able to make it all the way with no stress. We so appreciated the shampoo and conditioner already in there - just had to go buy some soap. Overall, it was an incredible stay and we most DEFINITELY want to return next year!!!-via Airbnb

Great for girls get away

We are bicycling ladies from Reno who chose the Guerneville area to spend a few days togther, celebrate a birthday and ride through the wine country and out to the coast. The house was perfect for us. There were plenty of beds. It was tidy and clean and sweetly tucked away in a quiet neighborhood close to town. We highly recomemend this property for anyone wanting to visit this area.....wineries to the sea!

Perfect for the family

This house is the perfect spot for a family vacation. We came with family and it worked well with three bedrooms, a comfortable kitchen and dining room, laundry, ping pong, and family room. We particularly loved the porch to relax on, have coffee, a drink, sit among the trees and the beauty of the area and visit with family. A quiet beach is close by and the neighborhood is quiet, yet close to town. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to come back again.

Great Location

This house is great. It has everything you need and want and it is right next to town. The owner and property manager are on top of it and if anything comes up they respond asap. It is 5 minute drive from Johnson's beach (the Best!) or you can walk to the river if you prefer a quieter spot for a while. It has three nice size bedrooms: one with a private bathrooms and a queen, one with a single and a double bed in it and a third one with a queen. The second bathroom is big and nice. Laundry if you look for that too. The kitchen has everything you need to cook nice dinners and even desserts. There is also a great grill in the front porch that can hold food for a crowd. Guests have access to beach towels, beach chairs that are light and easy to carry and an awesome cooler bag that I wish I own. In the evenings I turned up the lights in the front porch wrapped myself in a blanket and enjoyed looking at the ski under the majestic redwoods surrounding the house. Such a great location as it was close to the beach and we could quickly drive into town, while having the quiet of a spot across the river. It's also not too far of a walk into town. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped too. All in all, we loved it!

This home has everything you need! It is located in such a cute area and has so many different things to do. We were able to take a cute walk down by the river (even though it was a little rainy on our trip) and get to taste champagne at Korbel winery! This house is perfect for day trips around the area and then game nights in the house. The house itself if extremely well kept and has everything you need, along with the most comfortable bed you will ever get to sleep on! I highly recommend staying here if you're looking in the area.
