Jenner by the Sea is breathtakingly beautiful.
Wildlife abounds in the special spot, where the Russian River flows into the Pacific Ocean. The river mouth is home to seals and a variety of birds and fish. During Fall and Spring migrations, whales can be spotted just offshore.
Popular activities include kayaking in the estuary, scenic drives, wine tasting, bird watching and fishing. Jenner has a small selection of restaurants, a coffee shop, and a gift shop.
The beaches of the Sonoma Coast, including Goat Rock State Park, are a short drive away. Many of the beaches allow dogs. The coastal town of Bodega Bay is 10 miles south of Jenner. Guerneville is 13 miles east.
