Description

Mint to Be is situated in an exceptionally scenic part of the Russian River Valley where the redwood forests open to the coastal hills. This lovely spot is close to the Russian River and just a short drive from the Sonoma Coast. Enjoy peaceful evenings outdoors on the large deck where there is a gas grill, hot tub, and propane firepit. The modern farmhouse-style interior is open and airy, with two living spaces and well-appointed kitchen. Guests will appreciate the single level, with only a half flight of stairs to the front door.

Mint to Be is set up to comfortably set up to accommodate six guests. Each of the living areas (the main living space and the sunroom) are furnished with a gas fireplace and smart TV, and the picnic bench dining table can be set for six. The sunroom has a desk for those who need to get some work done or check emails during their stay.

The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including French door refrigerator, gas range, and dishwasher. Fully stocked for cooking and serving meals, this space will delight the chef in your group. Other guests can hang out with the cook while enjoying a glass of wine or cup of coffee at the bar counter.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedrooms has a twin/double bunk. The second and third bedroom share a hallway bathroom with a tub-shower combo.

Outdoors, soak up the California sunshine on two spacious decks. Lounge furniture surrounds a gas firepit, and an outdoor heater adds to the appeal in cooler months. The rolling yard features all-around fencing, quiet sitting areas, and lovingly tended grounds. Slip into the hot tub and watch the stars come out, or gather around the gas firepit on the lawn.

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Mint to Be is 6 people not including kids under 3 years old. Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

A Note About Our Cleaning Fees: Thank you for supporting our local business! When you stay with us, you are supporting local families at work. We think everyone deserves a decent living wage, and we make sure to set the rates and fees so that our cleaners and employees earn a living wage in beautiful Sonoma County. The cleaning fee goes directly to the cleaners and inspectors for their hard work in making sure our guests have a wonderful and welcoming space to call home for their stay.

Parking: There is parking for a maximum of 4 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Driveway Gate and Fencing: The gate is manually operated, so you'll need to open and close it as you go in and out of the driveway. When closed, the yard is fully fenced.

Bed Sizes: Primary Bedroom, King Bed. Second Bedroom: Queen Bed. Third Bedroom: Bunk bed, double on the bottom, twin on the top.

Port-a-crib details: A pack-n-play is provided.

Heat Source: Two gas fireplaces.

Cooling: No Air Conditioning

Location: Mint to Be is in a cozy residential neighborhood. It is a mix of permanent residents and vacation rentals, families, working folks, and visitors. To honor this balance, we ask guests to park in the driveway and respect the quiet hours in addition to general family-friendly, residential neighborhood expectations. Thank you for helping to continue the tradition of a mutually beneficial relationship between vacation rentals and local community!

Stairs: Four exterior stairs to entry. Interior is single level.

Pet Friendly: Yes, two well-behaved dogs allowed per stay. No other species of pet allowed

Television: There are two Smart TVs, one in each living space. Guests are welcome to bring their login info for these apps. The televisions do not have cable service.

Great location and home - plenty of supplies throughout the home to make up for a few items that we had overlooked in packing for our trip. Home had propane BBQ and hot tub - we did not use either but they were both in great shape. We did use the outdoor heater and fire table - very nice to have on deck.Just wanted to let you know that there was a few items that need attention:. I have rental property and I am pointing this out as a courtesy and not being too critical - we still had a good time there.Door code for door on West side of home did not work.Only one hand towel per bathroom was provided, - we were three couples.Coffee pot is too small for unit - not tall enough to release water from filter.Looks like there is a pathway across from the home to access the river but path was blocked by neighbors overgrown tree.Rug in Master BR turns up at corner near entry door - tripping hazard.Chairs on West deck have been rotted by the sun and are not safe to sit in - also exterior rugs are in shreds on that side of house.

The inspectors and cleaners normally catch these items- unless guests arrive early without approval. The code did not work for the door on the west end because it was not 4 pm and the door code will only work at that time. From the inspection photos there were three sets of towels left for your group spread out in the master bath and hall. One hand towel, one washcloth, and one bath towel per guest are provided and guests can wash these as needed during their stay. There is no river access for this home and the path is the neighbor's property. We are always available to help guests when they can not find items during their stay. We are so glad overall you enjoyed the home.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Large very private property with multiple outside seating areas. We enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean and ready to use. Beach towels were provided. Wonderful home that met all our needs as a family of 2 adults, 3 kids, and a dog. Home was beautifully designed with separate areas and very comfortable beds for all of us. Kitchen was pristine and well-stocked. Large collection of games and a tasteful selection of books - there is something for everyone! Two separate areas with tv and fireplace if people can’t agree on what program to watch. Host was very responsive. Outdoor space was amazing. We enjoyed playing tag, ping pong, and tag. So many birds here - you can listen to and watch them all day. The yard is huge and fully fenced but if you have a dog with strong prey drive, they may try to dig under the fence to catch some small critters. After realizing this, we chose to keep ours on the leash for his safety, and to be respectful of the yard. Other than that, we loved this place! It’s a serene slice of heaven. -via Airbnb

The rooms were bright. The property is private. Close to the breathtaking beaches. Kitchen fully equipped with all the essentials.
