Sonoma County is enormous and has an area of 1,768 square miles, but you can find a whole lot of fun just in Santa Rosa.

The Charles M. Schulz Museum features changing galleries of original comic art, a re-creation of Schulz’s studio, a 100-seat theater, a drawing room, and beautiful outdoor gardens with a labyrinth in the shape of Snoopy’s head. Santa Rosa was home to Charles M. Schulz, the creator of the world-famous Peanuts comics, for the last half of his life.
Wine Country meets Beer City in Santa Rosa. Try a craft brew at one of the many award-winning breweries and brewpubs. If wine is more to your liking, Sonoma County is home to over 425+ wineries. A favorite in Santa Rosa is Paradise Ridge Winery which has the best views of Santa Rosa and was voted "Winery of the Year" in 2018 by the California Travel Association.
Tirone-Annadel State Park offers trails for hiking, mountain biking and trail riding. With more than 5,500 acres of rolling hills, seasonal streams, meadows, and woodlands, this beautiful State Park offers something for everyone. Make sure to visit during springtime to enjoy the wildflowers, especially around Lake Ilsanjo.
The Luther Burbank Center for the Performing Arts offers world-class performances of music, theater, dance, comedy, family programming, and renowned speaker events. For professional theater, there is the 6th Street Playhouse and the newly opened The California/Left Edge Theatre in downtown Santa Rosa.
